Our nanny’s main role was to care for our baby, and she did so with exceptional attention and love. She handled everything from getting him ready in the morning, feeding, and bathing, to recognizing and voicing any small changes in his body or behavior that I might have missed. Her attentiveness gave me great peace of mind as a first-time mom.

She also prepared three nutritious meals each day, always had fresh tea ready for me, and often made lactation soups that supported my recovery and milk supply. I really appreciated how she explained the purpose and health benefits of each dish—her meals were always fresh, balanced, and incredibly thoughtful. When grocery shopping, she was mindful about choosing healthy, affordable ingredients and made sure we were well-stocked for the week to avoid unnecessary trips.

Beyond her cooking and baby care, she kept her space and the kitchen tidy, helped with light household chores, and took care of both the baby’s laundry and our family’s. She also assisted with night care, helping to feed the baby when I was resting or recovering. I had an unexpected C-section, and she was such a tremendous support—helping me with mobility, ensuring I ate and rested properly, and making my physical and emotional recovery so much smoother.

More than just a caregiver, she truly became my confidant and emotional support system. She cared for me as much as she cared for my baby, always making sure my mental health was stable during postpartum recovery. There’s truly no area in which she fell short—she exceeded every expectation we had.

Postpartum can be a challenging and emotional time, but with her guidance, support, and warmth, I felt strong, cared for, and capable.
