We originally hired her for 1 month but extended her service for another month. She has more than 12 years of experience as a nanny, and is very knowledgeable about baby care. I felt reassured to leave my baby in her care whenever I had appointments.

I was fully breastfeeding / direct latching, and did not use the pacifier, and felt my baby especially needing to suckle more than I was expecting. Siew Ying was very good at pacifying the baby despite the fact that I was resistant to using the pacifier. I think it would have been easier for her to help me establish a good sleep rourtine if I was more confident of using the pacifier.
