During my confinement, I have times when I’m not feeling well and have no appetite to eat but Yuki always ensures that she will cook something I like which helps to increase my appetite. Typically, I’m someone who enjoys heavy flavoured food so confinement meal generally is too bland for me, but she always try to think of new “menu” options for me to choose from so that I wouldnt get too bored of eating confinement meals! I also appreciate that she will always take the effort to learn new recipes based on what I tell her what my cravings are, and she will happily go on youtube to learn and will cook for me as long as I request for it.

Yuki is very attentive and takes good care of my baby. Since day 1, she knows exactly what my baby wants and knows the right methods to soothe and calm her. She also never once complain when my baby cries throughout the night and always wants to be carried. She is very patient with baby and can see she treats baby with alot of care, allowing me to trust her and focus on recovery during my confinement.

Yuki always ensures to care for my well being during my confinement days, allowing me to get ample rest and focus on recovery. She also gives me alot of encouragement and always tells me to not stress when it comes to milk supply, which really gave me alot of emotional support during this time as a first time mom. In addition, she also gave me alot of advice on what I need to know when looking after baby and also guiding me along the way which gives me confidence.

As a first time mom, there are many things I do not know what to expect or do particularly when it comes to my recovery process and how to care for baby. Getting a reliable nanny like Yuki who is patient and knows baby’s cues very well, and in addition always advicing me the dos and donts on what to do to aid in a smoother recovery process for myself has been extremely helpful. Her encouragement and emotional support given during this time has also helped me alot in building confidence as a first time mom (be it taking care of baby or breastfeeding related). Very thankful to have her help during this time and just wish I could have more time with her as she takes great care of baby!
