Having come from an F&B industry, her cooking is nutritious and versatile. She can whip up delicious meals quickly, and adjust the menu according to your individual needs or wants. For example, some days I told her I wanted a lighter meal and she would cook more steamed items. She was also conscientious of the cleanliness of the kitchen and cleaned up after the heavy cooking.

Her skills in taking care of my baby was top-notch, the fact that I extended her service with her from 1 month to 1 year with us is testimony to her skills. She knows exactly what to do to ensure both mother and baby are well taken care of from the day you arrive back home. As the baby grows from a newborn to an infant crawling around, Auntie Sally was there to guide us throughout the different stages.

Her years of experience working as a confinement nanny come through when she showers my baby (never cries) and when she calms him down when he fusses when overtired or hungry. I appreciate that she was always patient, cheerful and treats him as though he was her own baby.

I made a swift recovery which I credit to Auntie Sally's cooking skills and attention to taking care of baby when I could not. She always reminded me to rest between feeds, and looked out for my physical and mental health. She was also very caring towards my baby and was always able to soothe him when he was being fussy. Our expectation was for her to take care of baby and handle baby related duties only but she went above and beyond and helped to look after my older boy at times. She's also open to feedback and easy to get along with, so there was no stress or anxiety at home.

Although I'm a second time mum, I greatly benefitted from Auntie Sally's help, so much so I extended her service from 1 month to 1 year with us.

Aunty Sally is a Chinese/Malay speaking Malaysian with basic English skills who has worked in a variety of households of different lingua.

I appreciate that she has a more modern mindset, didn't force her ideals on us and respected our choices, for example, she supports both breastfeeding and bottle feeding and doesn't make unnecessary comments.

She has pretty high EQ. We were intiailly cautious of inviting a stranger at home, but her jovial and postive demeanour saw her fitting well into the household and is now seen as one of the family. She also knew when to give us our privacy, and got along well with our families and visitors.

More importantly, her diligent care for baby was top-notch, from feeding and burping to him, to making showering a daily delight for baby. She would feed baby at his own pace, and not rush him to "save time".

Hygiene was a big thing for me, and I like that even when she was busy and in the midst of other chores, she would still wash her hands thoroughly before handling baby. She also took quick showers throughout the day to ensure cleanliness of baby.

Overall, we were fortunate to have Auntie Sally's help - from newborn stage to the 1 year mark. She's avail from mid April 2025 onwards, and as per her request, her rates starts from S$4,000. I truly believe she is worth every single cent, for the peace of mind it brings.
