Since I had a C-section, my postpartum meals were kept light and mild in the early days. However, I have a strong preference for rich flavours and am not a fan of vegetables and fish, which made this a challenge for Sally. She had to find ways to make these simple meals appealing to me. But I’m truly grateful for her persistence and encouragement, reminding me that maintaining a light diet in the early postpartum period was essential for a smoother and faster recovery.

As time went on, Sally started preparing a variety of postpartum meals—even Western-style ones! Her crispy fried chicken cutlet postpartum meal was absolutely delicious! And dishes like braised pork rice were just as amazing.
