She made sure that I had enough rest and didn’t do any heavy lifting. She would prepare the herbal bath for me every day. Maybe just be a little bit more patient with mummy when learning how to care for baby or if she eats slowly :p

Elaine was recommended to us by a friend and we chose her because she is fluent in English (not many nannies are) as my husband and I don’t speak Mandarin. She also cooks very well and prepared many delicious meals for us. Each day, we had a different menu and it was something to look forward to. My boy was a pretty fussy baby in the first month but Elaine could handle him well and can see that she loves babies a lot. She would sayang him and soothe him when necessary. She also wants me to have a good recovery and to help my body heal so she makes sure I follow the confinement rules as closely as I can.
