Auntie Lay Peng caters her cooking to my liking. She also makes the effort and demonstrates creativity to make sure I eat certain food good for confinement but hard to consume in large quantities. Eg. Blending ginger to hide it in some food and cutting it into thin shreds for cooking. What I enjoyed most is the nourishing Chinese dessert every afternoon.

She is also knowledgeable and has shared different aspects of confinement practices - she even pointed out that the herbal soup package we got does not contain the required type of soup for clearing blood clots.
