Auntie Gean was a great help in my postpartum month. As it is winter in Australia, she took extra care of baby and I to ensure we never got cold. She always took care of baby so I could focus on recovery and taught me many useful lessons to sooth baby in between. She was also very patient with teaching daddy to change diapers and bathe baby and would always jump in to help if any of us struggled. Her cooking is 5 stars and we always had hot meals plus any desserts/snacks that were made healthier. Definitely would recommend Auntie Gean to any mommy looking for an experienced nanny.

Winter in Sydney, Australia—12°C. Once again, I found myself back in this familiar city.

Daddy had only been driving his brand-new Chery Tiggo Pro for a few days. The moment he picked me up from the airport, we headed straight home so i could prepare the very first dinner, a warm and comforting meal for Mommy after giving birth.

Their beautiful little princess was happily discharged and welcomed home just 48 hours after birth. 🏡💕

Mommy was enrolled in the Midwife Program and qualified for Australia's government-funded maternity care. As a result, all of her pregnancy, delivery, and postnatal medical expenses were fully covered. We truly feel grateful for such a well-established healthcare system.

What impressed me even more was Mommy's dedication. Even before giving birth, she had already started expressing and storing her breast milk, beginning with just a few millilitres each day. Little by little, she built up her supply until she was able to store as much as 200ml at a time. Her consistency, discipline, patience, and commitment to exclusive breastfeeding were all for one reason—to give Baby the very best nutrition possible.

Daddy is a chef at a five-star hotel, so our tea breaks were always something to look forward to. There were always different desserts and delicious treats waiting for us. Mommy and I were definitely spoiled! 😋

Winter confinement life has a different rhythm from summer. It feels slower, calmer, and somehow even more relaxing.

Every few mornings, we would take Baby downstairs for a walk in the nearby park, enjoying the gentle winter sunshine and fresh air. After returning home, we'd warm up with a cup of hot coffee, a mug of hot chocolate, and then enjoy a peaceful afternoon nap. Life was simple, yet incredibly satisfying.

There was never a shortage of handsome actors on TV dramas, parenting shows, or episodes of Bridgerton. Together with Aunty Gean's homemade crispy roast pork and a fresh avocado milkshake, every meal was thoughtfully prepared to nourish Mommy, support her milk supply, and make her confinement period both healthy and enjoyable.

The greatest blessing was how wonderful this family was.

Daddy spoke his charming mix of Cantonese, Mommy spoke fluent Mandarin, and I simply helped bring everyone's laughter together. Every day we chatted, cared for Baby, and shared the little joys of daily life. What began as a professional relationship gradually became something much more like family.

For me, being a confinement nanny has never been just about caring for a newborn.

It is about walking alongside a family as they begin one of the most precious chapters of their lives. It is about witnessing a mother's strength, a father's tenderness, and the endless hope that a new life brings.

澳洲雪梨的冬天，12°C。又再次回到这个熟悉的城市。

Daddy的新车 Chery Tiggo Pro 才刚开了几天，机场接了我就迫不及待回家，赶着煮第一顿晚餐，为刚生产后的Mommy暖暖胃。

漂亮的小公主，在出生48小时后，就顺利获准出院回家咯。🏡💕

Mommy受邀参加 Midwife Program，符合澳洲政府的医疗资格，因此整个孕产过程的医疗费用都是免费的，真的很幸运，也很感谢这里完善的医疗制度。

更让我佩服的是Mommy的坚持。还没生产前，就已经开始每天一点一滴储存母乳，从几ml开始，慢慢累积，到最高一次可以储存200ml。规律、自律、耐心，坚持全母乳喂养，只为了给Baby最好的食物。

Daddy是一位五星级酒店厨师，所以我们的Tea Break总是特别幸福。经常都有不同的甜点美食。我和Mommy都太有口福了。😋

冬天的陪月生活，比夏天多了一份慵懒，也多了一份慢下来的节奏。

每隔几天上午，我们都会推着Baby到楼下公园散步，晒晒冬日暖阳，呼吸新鲜空气。回家后，一杯热咖啡、一杯热巧克力，再舒服地睡个美容午觉。这样的生活，简单，却特别满足。

每天还有看不完的靓仔Drama、亲子节目，还有《Bridgerton》。配上AuntyGean自家制作、脆皮又多汁的烧肉，再来一杯牛油果鲜奶昔，每一样都是为了帮助Mommy补充营养、促进母乳，让坐月子也可以吃得开心、吃得幸福。

最开心的是，这一家人都很好相处。

Daddy讲着半咸半甜的广东话；Mommy讲着标准华语；而我，就负责把大家的笑声串在一起。每天一起聊天、一起照顾Baby、一起分享生活里的小确幸，让原本只是工作关系，慢慢变成像家人一样自在。
