Very lovely to have home cooked meals everyday. I appreciate that simple ingredients are transformed into delicious meals. Nanny is also very efficient as well.

Baby is very well taken care of and always looks clean and tidy. Milk feeding is very good and regular as well. We can see from the health checkups that he is gaining weight well. She also has good rapport with the baby, comforting him well. She is very observant as well, developing routines that suit our baby that we follow. She cleans the bottles and my breast pumps very promptly and I can be rest assured that when I need to use my breast pumps they are clean. The feeding schedule is very beneficial to us after she left as we could just continue and be able to take care of baby and also sleep sufficiently or as best as parents of a newborn can haha :) She also introduced an app to enable easy tracking of all the babies activities. This allows us to see what was happening with the baby doing confinement. We continue to use this app after confinement with other care givers as well.

Jackie is very efficient and competent as a nanny. Before the confinement started, she sent a set of recommendations on items to get. We continue to use the recommended items today. As our baby came two weeks early, we did not manage to get things in place. The first day she came, she used her experience in interior design and arranged the baby’s room, and also set up the baby bottle preparation area. We are still using the same arrangement.

I chose Jackie as she had a point of view on best practices and was flexible enough to accommodate my preferences and what was available. She was also very upfront and direct about her requirements at the interview. Other nannies we interviewed seemed very flexible, but lacking in guidance on best practices. As new parents, a lot of the times, we just need to be told what to do as I didn’t have the bandwidth to ask questions - I don’t know what I don’t know.
