Baby Care
Auntie Amy is very pro active when it comes to handling the baby. Always ready to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Very gentle and skillful. Makes the effort to continue to update herself by attending courses on her own and reading books, despite being so experienced in what she does already
Mummy Care
Auntie Amy is always there to support me whenever i experienced engorgements, mastitis and any physical pain which resulted from child birth. She doesn't try to instill traditions us but uses logic and experienced to share what she believes will make the recovery phase a more pleasant one. She is very flexible and easily adaptable to what me or my family prefers. She is always there to lend a helping hand or give advice whenever we need.
Recommendation & Experience
Although started off with a little bit of a hiccups due to my baby's G6PD condition and certain confinement herbs he cannot take (through me-as I am breast feeding) but is found in the herbs that was given by the shops.
Auntie Amy has quickly regained our trust by her gentleness and kindness towards our baby (even though he is being very fussy).
She does not try and instill traditions onto us (Cannot shower, cannot wear short pants, don't move around so much and etc) but tries to logically explained the reasons why certain practices are done to prevent from us from having a slower recovery (which I learnt it the hard way :P )
Her dishes are simple yet shows a large variety of food that choices. She always makes the effort to ask if there is anything in particular that I would like to have and tries to cater to my needs.
Auntie Amy is very proactive with everything she does to help both myself and the baby recover. Although with a helper at home, she doesn't shy away from the extra cleaning task (dishes and baby bottles) and is very hygienic in general when it comes to handling the baby.
Overall, my experienced with Auntie Amy is great and I will definitely recommend her to mummys that are looking for a nanny.
