Hi, I'm a single mum in Melbourne with a 7 year old expecting my second. I will be delivering via c-section on 24/12/26 so would be looking for someone to start in early January (flexible with date). I'm open to various arrangements as I haven't used a confinement nanny before (but have had au pairs).
There is a private room at the back of the house with shared bathroom with the kids. We are near the Box Hill area, close to public transport and parks and green spaces. We have one dog, who can be a bit enthusiastic but is good natured and very smart. The house is large and single storey with some short steps (2-3) down to the private room and down from the kitchen to living room. My older daughter is with me half the time.
I intend to breastfeed if able - last time I triple fed for a few months until my daughter got better at breast feeding, so may need some support while I pump if I have trouble again. We did cloth nappies last time and I intend to do so again. We have housekeepers who come fortnightly and send out most laundry so only light tidying and cleaning and laundrying of nappies required (I have a clean cloth nappies routine that worked well last time).
Open to discussing if someone wants to live in or live out, and whether full time or part time, and therefore salary as well. I'm mainly concerned with general and night time support as I don't have a partner.
