We are looking for a warm, gentle, and caring nanny to support us with our 6‑week‑old baby and our 6‑year‑old son. As I am recovering from two postpartum haemorrhages, overnight care is the most important aspect, so we can look after our baby and give me time to rest and heal.

Our 6‑week‑old is currently fed on a mix of formula and expressed breastmilk, and we are working to gently support his feeding journey back to breast while rebuilding my milk supply. We would like our nanny to:
- Provide calm, confident care (particularly overnight so I can rest and recover), gently settling and responding to our baby when he wakes.
- Support our baby’s routine with feeding (bottle preparation, cue‑based feeding, and helping with expressing if needed), tummy time, nappy changes, and soothing.
- Help our baby settle for sleep in a way that fits our preferences and current feeding plan.
- Be comfortable with comforting our baby during fussy periods and tracking feeds and nappies if needed.
- Do light household tasks such as washing/sterilising bottles, preparing formula, doing a small load of baby laundry, tidying the baby area, and helping with simple meals.
- Give me massages and other postpartum support so I can rest and recover more easily.

As we only have a two‑bedroom apartment and our boys share a room, we can work out whether you would prefer to sleep in the living room or in the bedroom with our two boys, if a live‑in arrangement suits you. This is a short‑notice role, and we’re happy to be flexible with the timeframe (it doesn’t need to be the full 28 days or the 21 days I've put in this ad) and with whether you live with us or return home between shifts.
