Mummy Terminates Nanny's Service Due to Unhygienic Habits and Negligence

Just wanted to share a horrid experience with this nanny (so called herself a professional confinement nanny) which we had engaged this time round. Her name is Siew Koon. She promotes herself on social platforms and carousell.

So she came to us 14 days post delivery and she was terribly unhygienic only showering once a day. I had to tell her and nagged at her to please shower or at least change to a new set of clothes after cooking. She doesnt wash her hands after handling food. She wears PJs to do the chores. She sleeps through the night without taking care of our newborn and only cooks 2 dishes for me for every meal which is usually 1 spinach and 1 steam or pan fried fish. That was what I ate everyday. Breakfast is dependent on her mood and if she was hungry and wanted to eat, else she would make me just milo. Snacks is also dependent on her mood if she had wanted to drink red bean soup or black glutinous rice- she will convince me to eat what she wanted. (Which i can't take Black glutinous rice as it makes it hard to poo and I just had a hemorroid surgery) if she doesn't like it then she wouldn't cook and just say "tomorrow lo, now i make milo for u lo"

She handles the newborn very very roughly and my daughter would scream everytime she showers. However in the hands of my hubs, helper or myself she doesnt. She doesn't bother much about supporting the newborn neck and head and leaves it bobbing as witnessed in the photos.

She is always playing her handphone and is always laying on the bed even when baby cries. I had to scream for her to help me with the newborn as my wound was hurting really badly then and I cant carry for too long. She doesn't wash my daughter's clothing properly and doesn't keep it. My helper does the housework and laundry. The nanny will just leave the baby clothes hanging everywhere. (Seen in picture)

She doesnt clean up after cooking and even tells me if I am hungry just drink milo and eat plain bread. Her culinary is below mediocre and honestly my confinement food which I had ordered from TMC during the initial 14 days tastes so much better and the portion is more filling. The nanny cooks and serves a very small portion to me for my meals.

We terminated her 10days into service.

I am sharing this because I really felt that no new mummies should have to endure such stress and pay such rates for such a terrible experience. She commands $3000 for 28 days.

This is a honest review of her service. Beware.
