Mummy Reports Nanny's Rough Baby Handling, Poor Hygiene, and Neglect

I can feel you. I had this kind of bad cl too when I was in confinement. And she claimed that she has a lot of come back customers looking for her to help out in confinement. She is also very rough when handling baby. My baby's stomach had skin peeling of because of phototherapy and she rub it off using hand. I told her don't do that as it may hurt him and she said it's not pain. There was a time she cover my baby's face with towel when bring him out from the toilet. I told her that may suffocate him and she said it won't so I asked her how you know it won't when it's already covering his face. She gave him night feed in bottle till fall asleep too which may cause choking and I saw it a few times till I got to wake her up. I got so worry that I rather can't sleep and feed my baby myself. But you are lucky that your cl left in less than a week. I got to stand for a mth because my in laws choose to believe the cl more than me. They even scolded me because of that. Nightmare is over for you. So don't let it upset you. Keep yourself in good mood to have good supply and enjoy your confinement and days with baby.

I got similar experience during confinement. Cooked the meal and rice in the morning and reheat it.for my lunch and dinner. She cooked the fresh food for her own... scolded my elder girl coz she want to watch her favourite channel while my little girl watching cartoon. She wake up at 8 am and noon nap from 1 till 4pm. Locked the door at night 9pm. Baby with me. I ask her to get off after 8 days...she demand the full month salary. My friend said some of them purposely makes worst as no matter how they still het full salary 😡

I can feel you too! I had a bad experience and a bad CL too! Lazy, irresponsible, always fall aslp, scolded my son and worst thing is woke up later than me! Seems like having holiday in my house as she can have 5cups of milo per day! luckily my mum was there to help me and keep an eye on this stupid CL! Her name is ah mun jie from serdang! Don't even hire her! She just talk crap and she is also a thief!

I have a bad experience with a CL for my no.3 also. No.1 & 2 I did myself but coz this round sch hols for no.1 n no.2 only 17mths old so have to prep food for them. Already told the CL my situation n she said she can handle all 3. 1st day came kept complaining about my pots n slow cooker sizes n kept comparing my place n her previous family place. Nvr did much night duty. Mostly I take care myself. Even when my Todd needs to eat I have to carry the baby n feed no.2 myself. She just stood n stared at me. Nvr make breakfast for me also. Said I woke up late no need eat. Just eat lunch will do!! That's coz she dun do night duties n I dun get to sleep!!!

Then bath baby Everyday also need me to chase her what time bathing. Whole day at kitchen prepping food. Dunno y she took so Long. Nvr do house chores until I complain. My Husband n kids n my dishes we all wash ourselves. After cooking she also Nvr wipe the stove area which she promised she will do n said she is very particular n clean. All our clothes including baby I wash n hang myself. Even the laundry I fold myself. The cups n pumps n bottles n my kids water bottle all I wash. And I m doing confinement not supposed to touch water leh.

Her heart n mind just not here. Can tell. So when I confronted her she said at night she can't sleep. And she dun do night duties only once a night. That's when baby wakes up she just pass to me. Dun even have to bottle feed her Lor. She went to bed before 10pm n woke up close to 8am leh... then have crap story said joints pain n the meds she took made her giddy in the morning. Then Nvr tell us. So if while bathing baby she faint n drop baby how???

Then my baby pee very dark orange also Nvr tell us till I change the diaper myself n saw. Requested to go home after 3days n Nvr refund me balance deposit.

I fired mine after three days. She is super lazy and never wash hand when touch baby. Stubborn and act smart pulak. Ask hot water to wash face she just turn to my helper and ask her prepare for me. Ask her boil water she take from dispenser for me to wash face. If I ask her to boil then she said u hv to wait lor!

I have came across this CL's contact on the internet before. She has bad reviews. Suggest all mummies Google up the phone number before hiring them, just as a prevention method.

The bad review goes like this: ‘Lan’ Jie from Kajang, mid 40s, a bit plump, length hair slightly shorter than shoulder and highlighted in red, talk very fast. Her phone number is 016-9695361.

We should stop pitying the CL, since most of them like to take advantage of people's kindness. My first CL also asked for deposit of RM500, then about a month before my delivery, she asked for advance payment of RM800, I smelled something fishy but was frustrated that I had no backup CL last minute. She said she needed the money to help her son buy a car. So I negotiated to bank in a lower amount to her coz I was afraid she would bail out if I did not bank in. I said I needed the money to buy baby stuffs too. Turns out it makes no difference. My baby decided to come out slightly earlier than the agreed EDD, about 2 weeks. She said she is busy. I plead with her to come and she said that she will consider. Then she says she is out of state in Perak and has no bus ticket to come back, no promises. Then I called her again around 3rd day after my delivery. She did not pick up my call and I had to call her for many many times (say 30 times throughout the day), then only she picked up my call. She said that she hurt her hand and it is very painful that she can't do my confinement anymore. So I asked for a refund of my deposit. She only returned half of it. It was better than nothing. So Mommies out there, we must try our best to protect ourselves. These CL business is really spiraling out of control and it's like Mommies are at their whims and fancy.
