Mummy Reports Confinement Nanny Scam: Deposit and Advance Salary Lost

I need to highlight that I've encountered confinement lady scam case. CL name is Ah Lan Jie, her number is 0169695361. I have booked her when I was pregnant and told her my EDD is 28/12/2014. I've paid her deposit of RM800 to a MBB account (Chan Hui Cheng 112148211275) which she claims her daughter's bank account. She is recommended by another CL named Mandy (0165047636), Mandy is one of the CL in the BF friendly list. One month before the EDD, Ah Lan Jie called me and asked me for advance salary of RM1000. She explained she is in need of money, she is not working and waiting for me to go labour so that she can start work. I feel pity to her situation hence I banked in advance salary of RM1000 to the same bank account which she instructed. On the same day, I also told her I've booked my cesarean operation on 24/12/14. I called her twice to remind her after that. Well, on 15/12/2014 morning, my baby decided that he wants to see the world early. I quickly called the CL before I was sent to emergency cesarean. She shocked me by saying she couldn't work for me because she has hurt her back! When she answered my call, I even hear a baby crying in the background. I couldn't believe she stood me up just like that, left me panic and helpless. My friends and relatives quickly helped me to find a new CL, and luckily we found one at last. The CL was suppose to find a replacement for me but didn't even call me back! I called her for a few weeks wanted to get back my refund but she didn't pick up my call. I sent her sms and also called Mandy to ask for her. The CL finally returned my call but told me the deposit is forfeited because I deliver the baby earlier than the date I told her. This is totally unreasonable and unacceptable! I was only 9 days early and she never mentioned such condition when I placed my booking. Furthermore, she was the one who refuse to work for me. She says she will return the RM1000 to me but in installment basis. She told me she will bank in to me by end of Jan. I was so kind to her that I said end of Jan is the latest date which I can tolerate. Sadly, my kindness has once again gone to the drain... Until today, I have not receive any money from her. My patience is put to the max now, I believe I deserve a fair treatment. I am going to lodge a police report and let the police look for her/ her daughter.
