Mummies Warn of Nanny Scam Involving Fake Deposits and False Promises

. She is a scammer.

My friend and I engaged her (different EDD) from a recommendation of her other friend's confinement lady and we paid deposit fully as instructed. Additionally, she offered to buy the confinement herbs and we had to top up more money. Every morning, she will message and greet us good morning and even borrowed money from my friend on one occasion, saying she needed money to help her friend who was involved in an accident. She promised to return the money back. However, she kept on postponing the date.

We felt something was not right so my friend went to dig out more about her. My friend managed to connect with another mummy who took up her service as well and her EDD is just 2 days away from mine and our package is a full 28 days.

Our suspicion was correct and my friend called her up to ask her whereabout. She said she is in Singapore. However, the truth is that she is not physically in Singapore.

We managed to get our money back thankfully but it wasnt easy. Her daughter (who claimed she was innocent) advised us to lodge a police report to get back the last portion of the amount paid.

Imagine ending up knowing u been scammed and no confinement nanny on the day u gave birth. Long story short, beware of this scammer nanny, and whoever engaged her before and getting/gotten cheated by her, please lodge a police report. SPF needs more victims to report so they can bar her for entering Singapore and scamming more mummies and possibly taking actions on Malaysia side.
