Review of Nanny Auntie Ah Moi (CA344)
Pls beware of this Auntie Ah Moi from Confinement Angels - Nanny Services. She was a confinement nanny for my daughter for 28 days, during this 28 days, my daughter wasn’t well taken care of by this nanny and unfortunately also, my daughter fell ill on the 10th day and we had to send her to see a chinese physician, and her wound couldn't heel also due to weakness becoz this nanny didn't cook nutritious food for my daughter, this nanny cooked only normal meals which we had during our normal days with lots of vegetables which a confinement mum shouldn't eat that much. We bought lots of good and nutritious food like salmon, cod fish, black chicken and lots of chinese herbs but this nanny simply refused to cook and insist that we shouldn't interfere with her cooking. When we couldn't tolerate anymore and asked her to cook ginger mushroom chicken, which is a very common dish during confinement on the 17th day, she refused again and said she will only cook the dish after 21 days, as it is a heavy dish for a confinement mum, she said if we insist, she will cook but she will add lots of ginger, if that cause the baby to have pimples (my daughter breastfeed her baby), we cannot blame her, and so the dish came out to have tons of finely chopped ginger in it, my daughter said it was very spicy and true enough, the baby had lots of pimples on her face for the next few days.
During the whole 28 days, we requested for "dripped" chicken essence, which is a common dish for a confinement mum, but no, not even once she cook, and for many days, there wasn't any soup also for my daughter, again we couldn't tolerate anymore and questioned her, she acted and pretended to say "Oh, I didn't know she wants soup".
This evil nanny always give my daughter left over food from past meals and even the red date drinks from past days, and she can keep the pig liver which we bought fresh from the market for a few days then she cook for my daughter. There was once, I bought roasted pork and chicken as add on to their food for them but they couldn’t finish, this evil nanny happily said “oh, I don’t have to cook tonight, I can just make hot these left overs for your daughter and son-in-law”.
What’s more annoying is, despite we stopping her many times, she keeps feeding the baby whenever the baby cried, even when it is not feeding time yet, her explanation was the baby is hungry coz the baby just pooped and urinated, and so ended up the baby vomited a few times and the doctor said we over fed the baby.
Throughout her 28 days, we paid her to do some simple house chores, but she swept the floor only ONCE, and mopping the floor is NONE, and my Son-in-law had to do his own laundry himself, when my Son-in-law's mother reminded her that we paid her to do laundry for my Son-in-law, her reply was "I didn't ask him to wash, he wanted to do it himself, and I don't like visitors to come too often to interrupt my work".
In the middle of her contract, this nanny was down with flu and so my daughter decided to send her back to the agent to replace with new, but this nanny refused and threaten that when a replacement is required, normally the agent will find a very fierce nanny to replace in order to teach the mummy a lesson for creating a fuse over a small matter.
The agent suggested to my daughter to give $28 angpao to nanny upon her arrival on the first day, but my daughter gave $88 instead, besides my daughter, my Son-in-law's Mother and even my Son, also gave the nanny angpao, telling the nanny to take good care of his Sister. We never leave the nanny out whenever we bought food or desserts from takeaways, she always had the same food as what we had, but unfortunately, the nanny returned our goodwill with evil heart.
