Very disappointed by the quality of Nanny’s coming from Confinement Angels. We swapped out 2 nannys and both were really horrible and unprofessional.
We shared our unhappiness with the agency including a lot of video evidence but only got ‘we will inform deployment’ and ‘deployment has reviewed the video and there’s not enough evidence’.
Sharing our experience here as a warning for all who engage this company as no other parent should ever go through this with their fragile newborns.
Here is just a small snippet of what went wrong for you to make your own call on whether to engage them vs other agencies.

Nanny 1(the missing in action nanny):
- Spends 3 -4 hrs in the kitchen each morning preparing a very simple lunch and throws the care of the baby to my wife this entire time. Even when the babies are crying, the nanny stays in the kitchen. Post c-section wife was left alone to manage the twins (we have a very capable helper to assist with meal prep but she refuses to use the helper)
- Everyday after dinner, Nanny will tell us she will take a shower and request we help watch over the baby which we happily do. However, after 2-3hrs we find ourselves still looking after the baby and when we go look for her, we find her sleeping in the room without communication. The nanny often already takes multiple naps in the afternoon. We had a word with the nanny that we need her to be more present with the babies and spend less time in the kitchen and communicate her rest times but it quickly reverts back
- On multiple occasions as we care for the babies and bring them into the room screaming because of a diaper change p. She refuses to get out of bed and continues sleeping (e.g. after dinner) despite a screaming baby in the same room.

Nanny 2 (the unhygenic and literally shitty nanny who keeps lying) :
- Got caught on CCTV trying to reuse dirty milk bottle as she was lazy to wash it at night (she was using a 40deg water to rinse off and conveniently put it amongst the clean bottles). When confronted, just kept saying it was nothing and quickly put the bottle amongst the dirty ones
- Left my baby unattended on a tiny bed without rails as she left the room to make milk etc. She was aware that the baby at the mount was able to spin around on her own. A big safety risk.
- Does not wash hands with water and soap and believes using the hand sanitizer is sufficient. Often handles milk bottles with unwashed hands after changing soiled diapers. She even left poop hand prints on my curtain and other furniture. When confronted she says she always washes her hands although the CCTV proves otherwise
- Consistently doesn’t clean the baby properly after a soiled poopy diaper. Often just uses a 1-2 wet wipes for the entire cleaning process and we also found crusted baby poop on the baby’s back 8 hours after the last poop despite multiple diaper changes in between
- Despite responsibilities to also cook confinement food, she only cooked 3 meals throughout the time and refused to cook, making my helper do the cooking without instructions (we therefore never had confinement food). The nanny also didn’t do any cleanups or wash bottles including her own laundry as all were done by my helper. She only had one job which was to make sure she looked after the baby well.
These were just a snippet of what had happened. All videos and photo evidence of the above were sent to confinement angels but they did not admit any fault on the nanny’s part. Photos of my babys bum with crusted poo which the nanny left there for 8hrs.
